Gratefully Growing: Gaining Ground with Gratitude

untitled

“Your perception can make you more grateful for your situation or distasteful of your situation.”

– Nkechi Ajaeroh, Gratefully Growing

From time to time, I happen to come across a book that from cover to close is a true treasure.  As a reader (and as a reviewer), it is an experience that builds the fire for reading and books that already burns in my heart.  Gratefully Growing:  Gaining Ground with Gratitude is just such a book.

Nkechi Ajaeroh’s gift for writing is evident throughout, keeping the reader engaged and interested.  In fact, I found it hard to put down.  Nkechi really digs down deep in the concept of gratitude and what it means to live from that place.  I was especially impressed with her teachings on the poverty mindset.  She explained with depth and clarity what this mindset is, how it works, and how to break free from it.

Nkechi Ajaeroh grew up in the beautiful country of Nigeria.  I loved how she lent her personal story to the concepts of the book.  I feel like it added to the honest tone that she writes with.

Gratefully Growing:  Gaining Ground with Gratitude is an incredible book and I cannot recommend it highly enough!
