The third edition of the New York Times bestseller Seeking Allah Finding Jesus written by Nabeel Qureshi released August 21, 2018. I have been honored and blessed to serve on the launch team for this book as well as Answering Jihad: A Better Way Forward and No God But One: Allah or Jesus? All of his books are extraordinary and I highly recommend them.
This is probably not your average book review. How do you effectively put into words how to describe a book and an author that completely changed your life? I will undoubtedly fail, but I will give it my very best attempt.
I can trace the shift of my life from lost to found directly back to the first edition of Seeking Allah Finding Jesus. All of the ministry, all of the true spiritual movement, many of the Kingdom connections tie back to the night that the Lord showed me this book. The saying is, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” But that is exactly what I did. I saw the cover and I knew that it was a book I had to read. Thank You God.
So much has changed since then. Nabeel has gone to heaven to be with Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. If I am being completely honest, it has been very difficult for me to pick this book up. It is bittersweet. We all miss him. In the army of the Lord, Nabeel is a general.
What makes this book extra special is the bonus content, including an afterword by Mark Mittelberg and a section by Michelle Qureshi, Nabeel’s wife. They are touching and powerful.
Some things we encounter in this world are just different than everything else. You can tell that God has breathed on it. Nabeel’s books are in that category. It is extraordinary the way that this book is written. Candid, thought-provoking, emotional. Nabeel’s testimony has been and will continue to be a light to all those seeking the truth about who God really is. Nabeel’s legacy will impact generation after generation.
